About Us
We have a dream that envisage a world where people and their respective society have adequate mechanism to address development in its holistic meaning. In such a psycho-social primer, we see our existence. Moreover, a meaningful existence!
We exist to constructively intervene in all psycho social phenomenon that will have an effect and impact on individual and subsequently on society. In this direction, we have a multi-dimensional approach which encompasses interventions in a number of significant areas.
In pursuit of our mission, we collaborate with local communities, other governmental and non governmental organizations and corporations. We al so closely work with organizations and academic institutions who share a common goal.
History
- 2004: Started working among the tribes in Kerala ,Headquartered at Trivandrum, Kerala
- 2005: Submitted a study on culture specific interventions to Government
- 2006: Started working among the mentally challenged and the impoverished
- 2007: Stretched its wings to Consulting and Support
- 2008: The vision has been re-written when more volunteers and professionals joined PSIC .
- 2008: Head Quarter has been shifted to Kochi, Kerala
- 2009: Associated with corporations in bringing out structured social responsibility initiatives
